Celebrating
100+ Years

YMCA National Swimming and Diving

What started as a small competition at the Central Branch YMCA in Brooklyn, New York – with 80 athletes from 9 teams – has become an annual celebration of youth development and achievement.

Now, more than 1,500 young athletes from more than 200 teams gather each year to showcase their talent, as they compete for the Y’s highest recognition.

YMCA National Swimming and Diving programs have positively impacted lives, united communities, and fostered future leaders for generations to come for more than 100 years. We invite you to browse the historical photos, meet records and testimonial videos on this site.

Make sure to add this page as one of your ‘Favorites,’ as we will be adding content throughout the year.
