The Coach of the Year Award
Awarded to a YMCA Coach or Coaching Staff that exemplifies the YMCA values in their program and community.
This award was established in 2002 to recognize a YMCA Coach/Coaching Staff that has exemplified the YMCA values in his/her program and community during the year. The honoree is seen as a role model for other coaches and athletes who promotes achievement, encourages positive and supportive relationships, and inspires a sense of belonging among swimmers.
