100 Years

What started as a small competition at the Central Branch YMCA in Brooklyn, New York – with 80 athletes from 9 teams – has become an annual celebration of youth development and achievement.

Now, more than 1,500 young athletes from more than 200 teams gather each year to showcase their talent, as they compete for the Y’s highest recognition.

All-year long, we will celebrate this monumental movement that has positively impacted lives, united communities, and fostered future leaders for generations to come. We invite you to browse the historical photos, meet records and testimonial videos on this site.
